Blog Joins the 2019 Litecoin Summit to Drive Awareness for Computer Science

We are thrilled to announce that will be joining the 2019 Litecoin Summit in Las Vegas this October. During the event, CEO, Hadi Partovi, will address attendees to share the nonprofit’s mission of expanding access to Computer Science (CS) in schools and increase participation by women and underrepresented minorities. 

Additionally, as part of the collaboration, the Litecoin Foundation will provide an opportunity for attendees and the general public to support this mission. Starting today, individuals can donate to by using the special QR code on the Litecoin Summit website. 

To date, has partnered with more than 180 of the largest school districts in the United States to add CS to the curriculum, prepared more than 100,000 new teachers to teach CS across grades K-12. 46% of students are girls, 48% are underrepresented minorities, and 47% of’s US students are in high needs schools.
